The Livable PA Toolkit Story

In fall of 2025, after rushing to put a toolkit together on healthcare issues only to have the issue in question become outdated before the toolkit could go out, Gillian Kratzer had an idea.

Why do we keep remaking toolkits over and over? All over the progressive space we were re-inventing the wheel every time we needed a toolkit and it was always so hard to distribute it widely to folks on the ground. The solution was a toolkit that encompassed a wide range of issues, updated regularly by issue-specific advocacy professionals that would include a monthly briefing for folks interested in making change.

Thanks to the support of Pennsylvanians Together and member organizations, the Livable PA Toolkit officially launched in January of 2026. We're proud to include many organizations who bring the  most up-to-date messaging on a wide variety of issues and we plan to keep on growing!
